Despite Newgrounds' policies on copyrighted content, @TomFulp has decided to let it slide, and have me release SBFS: Legally Blonde here on Newgrounds!

You may not remember, but I mentioned back in this post that two new games will be coming. Specifically, Fruit Frenzy, and Fruit Frenzy: Japan Trip.

I've decided to cancel them. They seemed too similar to the original SBFS, and certain aspects which seemed like they would make the game unique just felt useless.

On a lighter note, you can now play SBFS: Legally Blonde on Scratch!

I've decided to discontinue Plant Power. Recently, I've been feeling like the Plants were just watered down versions of the Fruit, this being the key reason. Unlike Fever, it won't be coming back as a bonus gamemode.

Recently, I've been noticing that SBFS has gotten "too easy" to beat, alongside a few other factors. Because of this, I'll be updating certain aspects of the games, alongside removing some content/mechanics, because I feel like they no longer work so well. I'll be removing:

• Duck Bros. and Pipsqueak in main gameplay
• Kawaiimon Catch minigame

On a side note, due to these updates, SBFS Fever will be discontinued soon, and will be turned into a gamemode/hard mode for SBFS.

Also, I'll be shutting down the forum for sharing your highest levels in SBFS.

I've come up with ideas for a few more Scratch games. Here's what they are:

• Super Bubbles Fruit Shooter Legally Blonde - A Crossover game dedicated to the cast I worked with for my schools production of the musical, alongside a dedication to my school's choir. Due to featuring copyrighted content, this game will only be available on Scratch.
• Fruit Frenzy - A game only starring the Fruit, no Bubbles or Pogo. It plays similarly to Angry Birds. The Fruits are in a slingshot, and you have to fire them at the incoming Ghosts. To differentiate it from the original SBFS, other obstacles will be scattered in the Garden.
• Fruit Frenzy: Japan Trip - The third and final game, taking place in Japanese locations.

Recently, I've been thinking of turning the webseries into a comic strip series, similar to Garfield or Over the Hedge. I might release a test comic sometime soon.

UPDATE - 4.12.2024

The SBFS and Duck Bros. spinoffs will no longer be webseries. They'll now be a series of short online comic strips.

This is something I haven't even mentioned once, but a majority of the year, I've been helping out with a Legally Blonde Jr. Musical as a pit singer. At first, I felt like I couldn't do it, like it was a bit too challenging. But in the end, it was all worth it.

Last night was our final showing. We did good. I'm gonna miss it all. I'm gonna miss staying back at school on Mondays until 5PM, having to go to school during break to rehearse for the musical, meeting new people, everything. What matters is that it happened, we accomplished everything challenging, and most importantly, we had fun.

To anyone reading this and considering helping out for a musical in the future: Things may be hard, but in the end, it'll all be worth it.

That musical was great. You know what would really hit the spot? Working on the SBFS webseries.

After the removal of the high score leaderboard system, I've decided to bring back the SBFS games to Newgrounds! You can play them here:

Super Bubbles Fruit Shooter Fever will be my final Scratch game, meaning no more games using Scratch will be made in the future. I'm going to be taking a long break from game development, with the final SBFS game being the one releasing in 2027, it's title being BM Classics: Super Bubbles Fruit Shooter (subject to change). Since this will be made using a new programming language, I'll have to learn how to construct the game using a different engine. A spin-off game I was planning on creating (it's title was gonna be Super Bubbles Highway) has been cancelled, as I felt like it just wouldn't work out for me.
